Kari Henriksen successfully completed a PhD in the Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University in 2016.  She has been the successful recipient of scholarships for overseas study in Sardinia and Italy and has been selected for artist residencies in Italy, Australia and Iceland.
 

Kari’s work has been short-listed as a finalist in numerous prize exhibitions including the Wyndham Art Prize, the Rick Amor Drawing Prize, the Geelong Print Prize, the Calleen Art Award, Fleurieu Peninsula Art Prize, the John Leslie, the McGivern and the Libris Artist’s Books Award at McKay Regional Gallery. She has also been been included in a number of curated exhibitions, notably  Anhui University, China, Latrobe, Sale and Aarat Regional Galleries as well as the Hey-Li Contemporary Printmedia Festival in Korea, and Deakin and Monash University Galleries.
